Itinerary
Inevitably, this tour involves motorways at times, so riders must be on min 300cc bikes and motorway legal.
Day 1 158 miles
From our meeting point at the Hollies Truck stop near Cannock, we'll wend our way through the Peak District National Park taking in the sights before arriving at out base in the Yorkshire Dales.
NOTE. YOU ARE WELCOME TO MAKE YOUR OWN WAY AND MEET US AT THE HOTEL IF YOU PREFER.
Day 2 144 miles
A loop through the Lake District takes us over the Kirkstone Pass, from where we head towards Alston pausing at the top of the Hartside Pass. From there, the road to Middleton in Teesdale gives us some fabulous riding and scenery, with a stop to walk up to High Force waterfall on the Tees (10 minutes each way). Looping back over more beautiful Pennine countryside, we return to our base for our second night.
Day 3 98 miles
Today we limit the mileage in order to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Highlights including Hawes, Buttertubs Pass, Aysgarth Falls and Malham Cove (involving a walk to the Cove, or while away an hour or so in the village pub / cafe)
Day 4 Mileage depends on destination
You are welcome to make your way home independently after breakfast, or depending on demand, we can organise a more scenic route home involving less time on the motorway.
